Theme Park Predictions on Youtube

Theme Park Predictions on Youtube is a great channel!

Theme Park Predictions on YouTube is a channel I have been following before he reached 100 subscribers. There’s something about his content that I just love. First off you can tell this dude is a fun-loving enthusiast. You won’t get any negativity from his videos. His content is very varied. So it’s not just the same thing over and over again with a new park.

Theme Park Predictions on Youtube is pretty free with the spending

It’s not a criticism but I guess it’s fair to say that sometimes I think his predictions can be a little outlandish. Meaning they don’t fit into the reality of the situations with those parks. But who cares? This is about having fun. Leave the real-world financial issues to the parks themselves. Because darn it, I want an RMC Boss!

Theme Park Predictions on Youtube: Five Year Plan

On April 14 2021 Brandon the content creator on this excellent YouTube channel posted a five-year plan for Six Flags St. Louis. Since this is my home park I thought I would it would be fun to break down his predictions.

From CCI to RMC!
From CCI to RMC!

Year one goes in line with what he already knows the park is doing. Which will be the new Cat Woman’s Whip. One note here is that it will no longer be placed by The Boss but instead is going in Superman Tower of Power‘s old spot.

No complaints here! While of course, I would rather have a roller coaster every year the reality of the situation is flat rides happen. For flat rides, Cat Woman’s Whip looks great! Kind of like an S&S 4D free spin except in a flat ride model. The seat sits on the outside of the track. Which can then spin upside down or forward depending on weight and forces.

2023

His first year of actual predictions starts with 2023. Here he is giving us what most of us want. RMC Boss! You will find no complaints from me about this. I would request that if they’re going to do this that Six Flags St. Louis would give it a proper sendoff. Give us a year’s notice and have fun with it. I would like a proper send-off for this classic Custom Coasters International Woodie.

I do agree with Brandon if there was ever a roller coaster that looks like it would be prime material for a masterpiece from Rocky Mountain Construction (RMC) it is The Boss. Please make this happen Six Flags and RMC!

RMC it please!
RMC it please!

Also, he gives the idea of doing a whole bunch of updates by The Boss. This makes a lot of sense since you know that when you do this conversion it is going to create lots of traffic into that area. So adding new restaurants, shops, and the two kid rides is a perfect idea. Six Flags St. Louis does suffer from not having enough restaurants.

It is already a shame that this park doesn’t have a kid coaster. I love the River King Mine Train but we need something else to bridge that gap. I just ask that it have a theme that goes along with the new RMC Boss. Something fun like Son of Boss!

2024

I love his idea of the new wave pool. But I think there needs to be some kind of a distinction between the two. Not just another one. Like, make one where you have to be 54 inches or above. The idea being that one would be the family wave pool and the other would be for adults.

The addition of a water coaster would also be a tremendous benefit to the park. Hurricane Harbor gets so busy. So having a water coaster added to this part would benefit the park.

2025

I love the idea of an S&S spin shot tower! Though he does place this new drop tower in a lower part of the park by Ninja and The Joker. I think it would still be fine but would rather have a drop tower at a higher altitude. Maybe up by Screamin Eagle’s old entrance that is not been used for a very long time?

2026

I think one of these Zamperla giant discoveries is an inevitable addition to Six Flags St. Louis. It seems one of these is going in every one of the parks. However, that is not a bad thing since these are awesome! I like its placement in the DC Plaza area especially the idea of it swings over the main walking path by Shazam and then swinging over Thunder River! That would be so cool!

2027

He gives two different options for brand new roller coasters this year. I’m going to have to assume on this plan that all of the improvements have brought in some extra revenue for Six Flags St. Louis. Since there is a lot of money being spent it better be seeing a good return on investment. But since this video is supposed to be fun let’s assume that the numbers work out and we have the chance of getting another brand new coaster.

Option one, tearing down Ninja and replacing it with a Vekoma multi-launch. Option two is the one I would prefer which is a Chance Hyper GTX which interacts with the terrain by where Tidal Wave used to sit. From his description, it would go up the hill using the train to its benefit. Count me in on the chance hyper GTX! Using the terrain it’s on makes this sound like an incredible roller coaster.

Save the Ninja

As for Ninja, I would not tear it down. I know it gets beat up on a lot by the Coaster community but I still love it. I think if you just spent a little money upgrading the theming, along with a new paint job, and giving it Blue Hawk’s (Six Flags over Georgia) restraints which would make the coaster comfortable. Probably for the first time.

Show his channel some love

I loved his video. I think it’s a little unreasonable but like I said it’s fine and it’s not beyond what could be possible.
