Fowl Ball at Six Flags St. Louis is a chicken-themed sports bar. It is one of the better places to eat inside the park.
Fowl Ball at Six Flags: Overview
Fowl Ball has three core items. On the lower end are the hotdogs. You can get it either plain or with chili and cheese. Hot Dogs in the park are mostly a lost cause. Yet the ones at Fowl Ball are the only ones I say are good enough to eat. I don’t know if it’s how they cook them or what.
The second best thing is their chicken tenders. Sometimes they come with chips and sometimes tater tots. Chicken tenders are a staple of theme park food for a good reason. Again nothing to write home about but this really is a good meal. But not the best meal.
Above all, The Whammer which is their pulled pork-loaded nachos is the real star. Because they really pile on the good stuff. That includes a ton of pulled pork! One of the best meals to be had in Six Flags St. Louis is The Whammer with extra jalapeños.
You can get a beer here but just be warned they will charge you an arm and a leg. Sadly there are no dining pass options to take the sting off.
Fowl Ball at Six Flags: Could be improved
As for downsides I can give to Fowl Ball is this one seems to be understaffed way too often. This means that at peak times it will take you a very long time to get your meal. Also when they take your order it requires them to communicate to the kitchen staff if there is anything special. So you don’t want salsa on your nachos? That has to be verbally communicated instead of there being a computer system that will help ensure it. Getting a special order correct can be difficult.
Final Verdict
Summed up Fowl Ball has great potential but operationally can have some issues. Yet the food itself is solid. So on any day as long as it’s not too busy I recommend Fowl Ball very highly. On a scale of one to ten, I give it an eight and a half.
Pros: The Whammer, good amount of seating inside and out.
Cons: Understaffed, special orders not correct to often
