Dining Pass at Six Flags St. Louis comes in many prices and variations. Should you get a Dining Pass?
Dining Pass at Six Flags is it worth it?
As long as you plan on going more than twice then the answer will be yes regardless of your situation. At their most expensive they will be either sixty (Basic) or one hundred (Premium) depending on which tier you choose.
Dining Pass at Six Flags has two different options
With the Basic Dining plan you get a meal and a snack. With the premium Dining Plan, you receive the same benefits as the Basic but now you will also get a second meal and a bottle which will get you soda refills all season long.
What is a Meal?
Let’s assume you have chosen the Premium Dining Plan. You have two meal credits to spend. You walk into the best restaurant at Six Flags St. Louis, JB’s Smokehouse BBQ. What can you get with your meal? When looking at the menu if you see what looks like a hamburger with an “M” as the patty next to an item then you can trade one of your credits in for that item. Any restaurant you walk up to will have meal options. Then to get your second meal just wait three hours after redeeming your first meal and you can now get your second.
What is a Snack?
You’re done eating the yummy cheeseburger and fries at Johnny Rockets and would like a desert. You look at the menu and see they have a milkshake. When looking at the Menu you can see that next to the milkshake the same insignia that let you know you could get a meal is there but this time it has an S instead of an M. Then you can trade-in your snack for that Milkshake. Which tastes amazing.
What is the best Meal?
This will of course vary depending on taste. For me, the Pulled Pork Sandwich on a Pretzel Bun and Fries from JB’s is the best. The second would be the Cheeseburger at Johnny Rockets. What is the best Snack?
The easy answer is a Waffle Ice Cream cone from First Cone Parlor. You could also get a Funnel Cake, Soft Pretzel, fries, and Nachos. Just like with the meals there are tons of options for trading in your snack.
What’s the catch?
The only thing you could call a catch would be in the upgrading department. Say you wanted that single cheeseburger at Johnny Rockets to be a Double Cheeseburger. They will charge you two dollars for that. All the restaurants have upgrade items. Take for example this example with Moose Burger Lodge.
You can choose to upgrade but I never get the feeling that I am being forced to choose the only good option which is the upgrade. The regular options are great!
Will they ever cut me off?
No, they will never cut you off. We go a lot. Close to every weekend. If they were ever going to stop someone from using the Dining Pass it would be me.
Difference in Season and Membership Dining?
The Season is full Price while the Membership is discounted. You pay more for the actual Membership itself though. One of the perks of memberships is they give you a discount on items you purchase. So the higher tier you choose with memberships the bigger discount you get on the dining plan. Yet again the principal is still the same. If you plan on visiting more than twice then it is a no-brainer regardless of pass or membership.

Six Flags St. Louis is a Theme Park. The food is priced high. At 15 dollars a meal your day at the park can get very expensive. There have been many times where our family will go just to eat. No longer do you have to worry about packing the cooler! We highly recommend you and your group sign up for the Dining Plan!
