Johnny Rockets at Six Flags St. Louis is the park’s classic 50’s diner. These aren’t just in Six Flags parks so you might already have an idea of what you’re getting. This one in St. Louis is reasonably well run and easily the best place to get a hamburger while at the park.

Johnny Rockets at Six Flags: Overview

Johnny Rockets has only a couple of items on the menu mostly it’s just hamburgers and chicken strips served with french fries and onion rings. The chicken strips are fine. They taste like the chicken strips everywhere else in the park. It’s the hamburgers where they shine.

You can either get a single or a double. The quality of beef and the toppings that they put on it are extremely good. The beef seasoning is just right and I have been here enough to say that it doesn’t ever taste like the Patty has been sitting for very long. Though I tend to eat at Johnny’s early in the day.

Johnny Rockets at Six Flags has the best Hamburgers in the park

A hamburger a Johnny Rockets is one of my favorite meals in the park. Another thing that makes me want to go to Johnny Rockets over other places is the milkshakes. Theme parks have many dessert options. So you might be thinking to get an ice cream cone or a funnel cake. I would recommend you take a look at the milkshake at Johnny Rockets. They’re so rich and creamy and best of all you can use your Dining Pass snack to get one!

It does get overwhelmed

As for a downside Johnny Rockets, it does get very busy and oftentimes the staff gets overwhelmed. I try not to hit Johnny Rockets when the place is jam-packed. But of course, I would make that same suggestion for all the restaurants at Six Flags. My recommendation is to hit this one up as soon as it turns 11 AM and they’re just opening.

Final Verdict

Johnny Rockets is an outstanding addition to Six Flags St. Louis. If I want a hamburger regardless of whether or not I am in a theme park this would do the trick. With yummy fries and a creamy milkshake to top it off, then I cannot recommend this more. On a scale of one to ten, I give Johnny Rockets and nine and a half.

Pros: Hamburgers, fries, and milkshakes are great, 50’s style
