Moose Burger Lodge is located at Six Flags, St. Louis. The name says it all if you want a burger you can go to Moose Burger. Hamburgers are one of my favorite food groups! Yet, then why does Moose Burger Lodge never impress me?
Moose Burger Lodge at Six Flags: Overview
Moose Burger Lodge has some things going for it. While there’s not a whole lot of space to sit inside they make up for it outside with huge covered seating area. Also the decour really is sharp. The rustic look really helped sets this restaurant apart.
They serve the waffle cut fries at Moose Burger Lodge. These things are a favorite of mine. They are served at many locations in Six Flags St. Louis. So it’s not like that is exclusive here.
Moose Burger Lodge at Six Flags: The Hamburgers are the issue
Really it is the hamburger that is the problem. The hamburgers just doesn’t taste very good. They remind me of a hamburger you would get at a buffet. Since the thing they should be best at isn’t good I just cannot recommend this resteraunt. Also, the bread it comes on is nothing special.
I’ve even gotten one right when they opened when it should be at its most fresh. Still the hamburger at Moose Burger Lodge just does not taste good.
Other Moose Burger restaurants are good
It must be something with how this specific Moose Burger Lodge is ran. In one of my several trips up to Six Flags Great America I had eaten the cheeseburger at their Moose Burger Lodge. It did not taste anything like this. It was wonderful!
Final Verdict
Moose Burger Lodge has not been a great addition to Six Flags St. Louis. If a place is going to specialize in hamburgers they should be able to do that right. If you want a hamburger at the park then go to Johnny Rockets Express. On a scale of one to ten, I give Moose Burger Lodge a three.
Pros: Nice look and feel, waffle cut fries
Cons: Hamburgers aren’t great
