Kitty’s Tea Party at Holiday World has been in operation since 2013. Designed and manufactured by Zamperla from their Tea Cups Model. Located in Holidog’s FunTown and should please the young thrill-seekers and their adult supervisors.
Kitty’s Tea Party Rider Experience
Kids will have to be 42 inches to ride alone, but 36 inches when there is an adult supervisor. Each teacup can seat two adults. Then you can sit as many kids as are comfortable. Basically, as long as they are not sitting on anyone’s lap, they can ride. Once the ride attendant has checked the gate on your teacup the spinning can begin! There are 6 teacups in total that will spin around the structure, but then you can make them spin even more by spinning the wheel in the middle of the teacup. The ride will spin for about a minute and a half. When the ride has come to a complete stop it is safe for you to exit.
Kitty’s Tea Party: The Good
Teacup rides are classics for a great reason. They offer a really great ride experience. With the wheel in the middle, you are in the control seat on how intense you want the ride. If you don’t turn the wheel at all you will have a fun but pleasant ride. Spin it as hard as you can and this will feel out of control crazy. However, you get to decide based on your comfort level.
Kitty’s Tea Party is very unique. It is the size of the kiddie model but the teacups are the bigger version. So adults can ride it with or without kids. It is themed for kids, and of course, it’s in a kids section of the park. Very cool for Holiday World to have made the smart investment in getting the bigger teacups so kids and adults can spin together!
The Bad
Kitty’s Tea Party may not be the best ride in the park. This for sure isn’t Voyage! Still, we just don’t have anything to call out as being bad about this ride. If you really wanted to complain about it then you could say that they should have just invested in the bigger teacups model and placed it in the main park. While a valid observation this ride is what it is. It does what it does with nothing to take away from the experience.
Final Verdict
Kitty’s Tea Party is a great addition to Holiday World. You are in the control seat on how intense you want your ride to be. Also with how many can sit together this is ideal for bigger groups with kids. Any complaints one could have about this ride would be stretching it. Because of these reasons Kitty’s Tea Party gets a nine out of ten.
