Ranking the restaurants at Hurricane Harbor STL

Hurricane Harbor is a tremendous value. Included in your general admission or whatever pass you may hold to get into a Six Flags, St. Louis. If you’re already in Hurricane Harbor it can be a real hassle to get out to the main restaurants. Don’t worry Six Flags St. Louis has enough restaurants in the park to help feed you and your group. Let’s get to Ranking the restaurants at Hurricane Harbor. This list will go from least favorite to my top pick.

3. Beachside BBQ

This seems to be more of an afterthought, more like a snack stand than an actual barbecue restaurant. In the regular park, there is JB Smokehouse which I consider to be the best restaurant in the entire park. Maybe I’m just being picky because it never seems to taste as good. Rarely do I ever choose Beachside BBQ as my place to eat. The line does seem to be smaller which is about the best I have to say about this one.

2. Primo’s Pizzeria

This is identical pizza to the one by Supergirl Sky Flyer in the main park. It doesn’t have the same side items but if pizza is what you seek then this will satisfy you. The pizza is not well seasoned but as long as you have enough crush red pepper or Parmesan cheese it will get the job done.

1. Cowabunga Burger

This is the main restaurant in the water park seeing as it has the most capacity. Here you will find hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, chicken fingers, and hotdogs. All served with waffle cut fries. This one gets busy but the line normally does go pretty fast since they staff it pretty full whenever it’s busy. My personal favorite being a hamburger and french fries. I can’t say it is as good as Johnny Rockets in the regular park. But the convenience cannot be beaten.

Desert at Pineapple Pete’s

Not to be considered in the rankings because it is not actually a restaurant more the desert option of Hurricane Harbor, is Pineapple Pete’s. They have a couple of different things but it is all about the Dole Whip. If you don’t know what Dole Whip is yet then please let me introduce it to you. Think of a soft-serve sherbet that tastes way better than you can imagine. My favorite flavor is strawberry. There is simply no occasion where I go to Hurricane Harbor without getting this before leaving. One of the best desserts in the entire park.
