Primo’s Pizzeria at Six Flags St. Louis is the parks pizza restaurant. Pizza isn’t rocket science. It’s dough, sauce, cheese and maybe meat or veggies. The food here isn’t bad. However, I cannot say it is all that great either.

Primo’s Pizzeria at Six Flags: Overview

The pizza is just very bland. There’s not a lot of seasoning or really anything that makes this anything other than just a basic slice. My recommendation is that if you’re going to eat the pizza make sure and ask for a bunch of crushed red pepper and Parmesan cheese.

Primo’s Pizzeria at Six Flags: Meatball Hero

There is one thing on the menu that is better. Which is the Meatball Hero. The meatballs are very good, and the bread that it served on taste great. They usually load this down with some yummy cheese as well. The sauce is the same from the pizza so it’s not outstanding, but I usually drown this Sandwich in crushed red pepper. While it is better than the pizza the only drawback that comes with it is that there is no side item.

The Sides Items

The side item are very good. You can either get a side salad, or do what I do and get the garlic cheese bread. I may think the pizza is lackluster, but I really do like the garlic cheese bread. So the pizza is kind of bland but the side item is good. The Meatball Hero is good but it doesn’t come with a side item. This makes it hard for me to recommend either option.

Two locations

Take note that there are two locations for Primo’s Pizzeria, there is one located by Supergirl in the back of the park, and the other in Hurricane Harbor. They both serve identical Pizza, but the Meatball Hero is only at the one by Supergirl.

Local cuisine just makes more sense

I wish Six Flags Saint Louis had a better pizza restaurant. Again not that this food taste bad it’s just not special at all. If it was up to me they would put a St. Louis style pizza restaurant. Imo‘s is well known but personally I go for the Double D’s Pizzeria.

Final Verdict

Primo’s Pizzeria is an okay addition to Six Flags St. Louis. The food won’t wow you, but if you load it down with some parmesan cheese and crushed red pepper it can taste pretty good. It’s just an underwhelming restaurant. On a scale of one to ten, I give Primo‘s Pizzeria a five and a half.

Pros: Garlic cheese bread, Meatball Hero

Cons: Pizza is bland, Not a lot of seating
