Beagle Brigade Airfield at Worlds of Fun

Beagle Brigade Airfield at Worlds of Fun has been in operation since 2016. Designed and manufactured by Zamperla from their Flying Tigers line. Riders enter a kid-sized airplane designed to look like a World War Two plane and get whipped around. Great for families with younger thrill seekers.

Beagle Brigade Airfield at Worlds of Fun Experience

Beagle Brigade Airfield at Worlds of Fun is a kiddie ride that sits inside of Planet Snoopy. Located right next to SNOOPY’S™ Yacht Club and Woodstock Gliders. This one gets a fair amount of traffic, but the line doesn’t get crazy. So there is no need to prioritize this ride over another. Riders must be at least 42 inches tall to ride alone. However, anyone between 42 and 36 can ride as long as they are accompanied by an adult rider. A seat belt will keep all riders safe. Once the ride attendant has checked all restraints, the fun can begin!

Once the ride starts the planes keep looping around the track. The straightaways will make it look very tame. However, the money maker on this ride is how it takes those turns. The planes make a sharp whip over and the planes will pull with the momentum. The ride will last around a minute and a half. Once the ride has come to a complete stop the ride attendant will give the all-clear. Once that is done, everyone is good to remove their restraint, and exit the ride safely.

Beagle Brigade Airfield at Worlds of Fun: The Good

Really Beagle Brigade Airfield has one trick but it is a good one. The way it whips around those corners is quite thrilling for the younger ones. Parents who don’t ride should get their cameras ready since this will give great photo opportunities.

The design of the ride is really cool. The planes themselves look nice with a great cartoon look. It was an inspired choice to hide the mechanism holding the planes to the structure with a cloud covering. The ride just has a charming look and feel to it.

By far our favorite thing about Beagle Brigade Airfield at Worlds of Fun is that grown-ups can get to join in on the fun. We will always give extra points to any kid ride that lets adult supervisors ride with the kids. The adults have to sit in the back and are decently comfortable for a kid ride.

The Bad

There is only one complaint that we can have with this ride, and it is one that a lot of flat rides suffer from. It only does one thing over and over again. This is very much a nitpick since this is a kid ride. Most of the kid riders will just have fun and not worry about the lack of variation in motion. Anytime a ride only has nitpicks and no major issues, that is a good sign.

Final Verdict

Beagle Brigade Airfield at Worlds of Fun is a great addition to the park. It offers a really fun experience for its target audience. With a charming design, a whip that will thrill the kids, and letting adults get in on the action make this a great ride. Complaints are kept to a barely worth mentioning. Simply put kids and their adult supervisors will soar and have fun! Because of these reasons, Beagle Brigade Airfield at Worlds of Fun gets an eight and a half out of ten.
