Hook’s Lagoon at Six Flags St. Louis

Hook’s lagoon at Six Flags St. Louis has been in operation since June 5th, 1999. Making this one of the original attractions to open with the water park. This is a playground for kids of any age, with the added benefit of water everywhere. This was and remains to be one of the best attractions at Hurricane Harbor.

Hook’s Lagoon at Six Flags is one of the best attractions in the park

Just the incredible amount of stuff that little ones can have fun doing here is staggering. There are kid’s water slides for those 42 inches and above. Secondly, you have a pirate ship with its own set of slides for kids under 42 inches. Thirdly, there are water fountains spouting everywhere. A huge bucket that fills up slowly, and then once a bell starts ringing it douses everybody standing underneath it. On and on, there’s just so much to do.

When I’m watching my young children at Hook’s Lagoon, I am also having a great time. Anywhere you go there are some fun interactions to be had with water. The summers in St. Louis can get so hot. If you’re hot while playing at Hook’s Lagoon, you’re doing something wrong.

Hook’s Lagoon at Six Flags is Fun and Safe.

Since this is kids interacting with water, the chances of something going wrong are uncomfortably high. For a good reason Six Flags St. Louis has probably its best operations in the park centered here. The employees working in this area always seem to be well trained and have great policies put in place to make sure that everybody’s having fun, and nobody is getting hurt. I have never felt that this area is dangerous for me and my kids. It helps me relax and let myself, and my family has a great time.

Final Verdict

Hook’s Lagoon at Six Flags St. Louis is an incredible value add for your Six Flags admission. Of course, if you don’t have small children this won’t mean much to you. Yet those that do, this is an invaluable resource. On a scale of one to ten, I give Hook’s Lagoon a ten.

Pros: Fun no matter the age, Feels safe

Cons: Nothing
