Magic Waters at Holiday World

Magic Waters at Holiday World

Magic Waters at Holiday World has been in operation since 1999. This is a very basic water playground. It is a great way to let the young ones in your party cool down while in Holidog’s FunTown.

Magic Waters at Holiday World Experience

When you enter Holidog’s FunTown one of the biggest attractions you will find is this water playground. It consists of a big blue play area that has water spraying at random intervals from the ground. This will be running at all times of the day and never has a line. No height restrictions either. However, they will turn it off when the weather gets cooler.

The entrance sign to Holidog's FunTown has a very toy block look to it.

Magic Waters at Holiday World: The Good

Being able to take the young ones to this area and let them have fun is great. They can have unstructured playtime while you can have an adult conversation. While this doesn’t look like many kids will play with it for hours. The kind of attraction that you think they will be done within 5 minutes but then have to fight hard to get them away from.

We love attractions like this at theme parks. It isn’t always about Roller Coasters. Theme Parks are smart to offer an area like this. It allows families to have fun. Any attraction that helps families have a great time together is a very smart investment for theme parks.

The Bad

This is as basic as you get. We wish there was just a little more to this. Water shooting from the ground is awesome but why not have one or two structures that also have water coming from above?

These kinds of complaints are valid but most likely won’t matter to their target audience. So while there isn’t much to this, the kids in your party probably aren’t worried at all about the lack of water dripping from above.

Final Verdict

Magic Waters was a great addition to Holiday World. While there isn’t much to do here the kids in your party will have a blast. We are big fans of any attraction that offers fun without lines. Because of these reasons Magic Waters gets a seven out of ten.
