Fire Wagon Frenzy has been in operation at Silver Dollar City since 2015. This one is mostly for the kids but it will accommodate adults. Themed to old-fashioned Fire Wagon and is decently fun for the younger kids.
Fire Wagon Frenzy Rider Experience
Riders can sit in one of six rows. There is one lap bar per row so beware adults that this will not be a comfortable ride. Once the ride op locks the gates the ride will rotate up and down. First forward then about halfway it will rotate backward. The ride will come to a halt will all coming safely to the ground.
Fire Wagon Frenzy The Good
This has way above average theming for this type of ride. The old rustic Fire Wagon looks great! Also while it may be uncomfortable for most adults I like how we were still able to ride it with our kids. I give extra points to any kid ride that I can actually ride with my kids.
The ride is decently thrilling for the target audience. As an adult, this ride does nothing for me. But, if you are with young kids they will get a kick out of this.
The Bad
As already mentioned it is not built for adults. So it will be not the most comfortable ride. Though I find it hard to complain about much here. This ride is designed for young kids and they seem to really enjoy it.
Maybe this was just my luck but we have been to this park seven times now. They only were operating it one time. It was the busiest day on top of it. This seems to be a ride only operating when the park is extra busy.
Final Verdict
Fire Wagon Frenzy is a nice addition to Silver Dollar City. It is a crowd-pleaser for young kids. While adults may not enjoy it as much, it is nice to be able to ride it with the kids. With above-average theming helps make this one stand out a little more than it should. On a scale of one to ten, Fire Wagon Frenzy gets a seven.
