Elephant March at Silver Dollar City

Elephant March has been in operation at Silver Dollar City since 2006. It is located in The Grand Exposition portion of the park and is themed to its place in the park. A Zamperla Spinning Family ride that is sure to please all ages.

Elephant March Ride experience

Riders sit in the fantastic-looking Elephant cars and are secured by a belt. Once the ride begins you have a button in the center that when pushed will make the elephant rise up into the air. From there the ride spins. Not too fast though. Just at the right speed so that it isn’t boring but also not intense enough to scare the kids away. Once the ride ends your elephant will lower to the ground.

Elephant March The Good

The ride is perfect for a family attraction. The height it gets to combined with the spinning makes this a lot of fun. Also, the theming is just great. Like every ride in The Grand Exposition, it looks and feels right at home. The Trees and bushes that surround it make it a beautiful ride to take in the scenery.

By far the best thing about Elephant March is the fun that families have on it. Every time we see this ride there is an adult with a young child riding. So many great family memories are made here. The ride is designed just for this type of experience.

The Bad

I find very little to mark off on Elephant March for. Because it is a spinning flat ride, it does one thing and then does it over and over. Either you like this kind of thing, or you don’t.

Final Verdict

Elephant March may not blow anyone away. However, it is exactly what it is trying to be. That is a mildly thrilling ride for adults and kids to experience together. It is pretty to look at off and on the ride. On a scale of one to ten, Elephant March gets an 8.
