Gulley Washer Creek at Six Flags St. Louis

Gulley Washer Creek at Six Flags St. Louis has been in operation since June 5th, 1999. Making this one of the original attractions that opened with Hurricane Harbor. This is the park’s lazy river.

Gulley Washer Creek at Six Flags: Overview

The concept is seen throughout almost all water parks. You get a raft, and you go down a river lazily. Every once in a while you’ll go down a little bit faster but most times it’s just a very slow pace. Sprinkled throughout you’ll find a couple of waterfalls, which is my favorite part. Specifically, the bigger waterfalls about three-fourths through are pretty darn intense. But the name of the game here is to lay back and take it easy. I find it is the most fun when I’m with a big group of people. Just goofing off and having fun.

Gulley Washer Creek at Six Flags: Who doesn’t like a Lazy River?

Gulley Washer Creek is very entertaining. Firstly, you usually don’t have to wait very long to get your raft and start having fun. Secondly, The ride itself is one of the longest in the park. Somewhere around 10 to 15 minutes, depending on how fast they have the water going that day. This is one of those rides where it seems like it has something for everybody. All age groups and group types can find something to enjoy here.

I really can’t think of anything wrong with this lazy river on the whole. It’s a simple concepts executed with Precision.
