Turkey Leg Incident Six Flags St. Louis

The Famous Turkey Leg Incident happened on Memorial Day weekend 2021. A bunch of rowdy and hungry park-goers had had enough of paying for Turkey. They instead decided to steal the famous Turkey Legs from Friar Tucks at Six Flags St. Louis.

Turkey Leg Incident: The Facts

There was one “customer” that decided to try to get to the front of the line. This was sort of allowed and she paid for one of these sought-after Turkey Legs. This caused some commotion when others decided to try and take it away. This spiraled out of control to the point when someone decided in the chaos to just knock over the stand. Then people began running and screaming.

The Aftermath

Six Flags St. Louis took this incident very seriously. The cops who work on the property came and people were arrested. Whether charges were brought or just thrown out of the park isn’t known at this point. The following week the crowds were back for the Turkey Legs so good people were rioting over them. This time they had security and police officers stationed there.

It is good that the park took this seriously. Because theme parks thrive on family business. As funny as the famous Turkey Leg Incident is, if stuff like this happens too often people will stop coming. I commend the park for trying to stop this so fast, and for taking it so seriously after it had begun.
