Elmer Fudd Weather Balloons was installed in 2006, along with all of the other rides that are located in Bugs Bunny National Park. Up to four children, or two children and one adult sit in a basket that can be rotated by hand.
Elmer Fudd Weather Balloons: Analysis
Once the ride begins the entire machine will spin. Once it gets going it begins to tilt while rotating. This sensation is surprisingly forceful for a kid’s ride. Elmer Fudd Weather Balloons is the most intense ride in Bugs Bunny National Park. I think by a good margin.
I don’t think this one gets quite the line of some of the other ones due to its intensity. Depending on how fast your children want you to spin the balloon, this can actually get very intense. Meaning that this one attracts more of the older group of children. I see a lot of kids who are too young, that end up crying when their parents get them to ride this.
I will give extra points to any of the kid’s rides that allow a parent to ride with them. It’s fun letting your children go ride a ride, but it’s even more fun getting to experience it with them.
Final Verdict
This is my favorite kid ride at Six Flags St. Louis. It’s rather intense and fun for parents who want to ride with them. My kids may ask to ride this, but this is one I actually want to ride anyway. On a scale of one to ten, I give Elmer Fudd Weather Balloons a nine.
