A Six Flags Season Pass is your ticket to fun! However, sometimes purchasing a pass can get confusing. That is why we made this easy to understand post which will make it easy to understand what to expect.
Once you purchase it you will be able to visit any Six Flags Park all year long. We broke it out into steps with pictures and clickable links so that you are able to make this purchase with confidence.
Six Flags Season Pass Step One
Go to this URL and pick your park that will be your home park. https://www.sixflags.com/
For the sake of this post I am going to be choosing Six Flags St. Louis since that is my home park. The steps going forward will be identical no matter what park you are choosing. The only difference will be the prices.
How much does a Six Flags Season Pass cost?
Different parks charge different rates for their passes based upon the cost of living and the attendance the park gets. To give you a good idea of what to expect my home park of Six Flags St. Louis is on the cheaper end. Only costing 49.99 currently. On the most expensive end would be a Season Pass to Six Flags Magic Mountain which is currently 120.99. So depending on which park you choose you can expect to pay somewhere in that range.
Six Flags Season Pass Step Two
After you clicked which park will be your home park you are brought to the main page for your respective park. There will always be an easy to spot banner talking about why right now is the perfect time to buy a Season Pass. The deals will vary but I don’t think I have ever logged in and not seen them running a sale on them.
You can continue your purchase by either clicking on that be add that looks like this when I was purchasing.
Or you can click this drop down and select Tickets & Passes

Step Three
You will be presented with these three options.
Should you get a Season Pass or a Membership?
There are some cool perks that come with getting a Membership. But really the question here is do you want to pay little extra over the year to have the ability to pay monthly instead of all up front with the Pass? If you are okay with paying little extra then you should look into the Memberships. If you still want a Season Pass then click on buy now.
Step Four
Once you clicked on Buy Now it will pull up this separate window that looks like this.
From here you will follow the prompts. They will try to up-charge you into a bunch of add ons like a Dinning Pass. You can read my thought on if getting the Dining Pass is a good option by clicking here.
Hidden Fees
No matter the quoted price they will always sneak in a Hidden Fee. Today they charged me a Processing Fee of 8.99. I wish companies would just put that in the price instead of tacking it on at the end of your purchase. Also note that they will charge you tax for your purchase as well.
You are all Done!
Once you confirm your order you will get an email confirming your purchase. If you have a smart phone you can even click the Print Now button on your email and they can scan it directly from your phone. No need to have it printed out or mailed to you. Once you get to the park it is super easy to get them. Once they scan your pass at the front gate they will hand you the card. You are all Done.
